Imagine, for a moment, if someone like Suze Orman called me up one day. She’s built a towering reputation around personal finance, but maybe she’s in search of a new banner — something with wings, something that soars.
She’s got the audience, the expertise, the global reach. But she doesn’t have “Flight To Wealth.”
A Name with a View
When I first chose the name Flight To Wealth, it wasn’t about clever marketing.
It was about capturing a philosophy I live by:
- Building wealth isn’t just climbing a ladder. It’s taking flight.
- It requires perspective, patience, and a willingness to glide through uncertainty.
- True wealth is about more than numbers.
It’s about the freedom to shape time on your own terms, to take photographs when the light is right, to grow celery that hosts caterpillars destined to become butterflies.
The Funny Thing About Value
People often measure value in spreadsheets and forecasts.
They want to tally up revenues, page views, sales conversions.
But when you’ve built something that’s an extension of your worldview — born of curiosity, creativity, and patient independence — its worth becomes far more complicated.
Would I sell the Flight To Wealth brand if someone like Suze offered to buy it?
That’s a fun question to consider, but the truth is, it would take more than money to convince me.
Because what I’ve created here isn’t just a name. It’s a vessel for my life philosophy — the same philosophy that let me step back from full-time work, tend my garden, photograph terns kissing gold on water, and write books simply for the joy of sharing.
It’s Not Always About the Exit
We so often hear startup stories framed around the “exit.”
Build fast. Scale faster. Sell big.
But what if the greatest value is actually in keeping something?
What if the payoff isn’t a lump sum, but the daily luxury of living your brand — letting it reflect your choices, your slowness, your selective generosity?
Flight To Wealth is worth a great deal.
Not necessarily because someone would pay millions for it (though who knows?).
But because it perfectly captures how I want to navigate life: light, free, spacious, and a little above the noise.
A Brand Beyond Numbers
It’s funny how a name can carry so much.
“Flight To Wealth” could mean:
- a jet-setting chase for money,
- or a gentle soaring toward well-being.
Mine is certainly the latter.
And while it’s fun to imagine big names wanting to put their stamp on it,
I’m quite content keeping this little flight path my own.
What’s your “Flight To Wealth”? What would it take for you to let it go?
